CDCE - Certified Data Centre Expert
CDCE is the highest level for Data Centre Specialistand this 5-day course designed to prepare participants to analyze a given business case and perform technical evaluation for a project plan and a set of designs for implementation of a mission critical Data Centre.

The course also engages participants in product evaluations and demonstrates how to select equipment and develop equipment test scripts (IET) and integrated performance and validation testing (IPVT). CDCE builds upon knowledge gained in CDCP and CDCS courses. Participants who pass the exam will join the industry's elite Data Centre project design experts.

Participants must hold a valid CDCS certificate in order to be able to register for the CDCE class.

Intended Audience:
The primary audience for this course is an IT, Facilities or Data Centre Operations professional working in and around the data centre (representing both end-customers and/or service provider/facilitators) and having responsibility to achieve and improve hi-availability and manageability of the Data Centre, such as: Data centre managers, Operations / Floor / Facility managers, data centre engineers, network/system engineers/data centre sales/consultants.

Exam:
Attendees will take the exam in two parts; Part A is a one and a half hour, a 60 questions multiple choice and closed book exam. For this part ofthe exam the student needs to have 45 out of 60 questions correct. Part B is a one and a half hour, 25 open questions and closed book exam. For this part of the exam the student needs to have 75% of the answers correct.

Attendees passing the exam will be awarded the internationally accredited and recognized 'Certified Data Centre Expert' certificate (CDCE).

The CDCE certificate is valid for 3 years, after which a full exam will be required to maintain the CDCE certification standing.

Alternatively the certificate renewal can be accomplished by obtaining CPE's (Continuing Professional Education). More information on qualifying CPE's will be available upon certification or visit the general information page here.

CDCE is world-wide accredited by EXIN and The Professional Engineers Board Singapore and additionally by The ICOR in The United States of America. BICSI accreditation will follow soon.
