CITM: Certified IT Manager
This 3-day course is designed to expose participants to all the key aspects of an IT Operations/ Infrastructure department in a mission critical environment, addressing the responsibilities of the modern IT Manager. It delivers the fundamental knowledge; hands-on skills and managerial aspects required and will touch on all important aspects of the job. Additionally the course will also provide practical tips on how to improve operations from a strategic, tactical and operational point of view.
Intended Audience:
Participants who have any involvement in IT operations and have the need to understand the key components and aspects of running an efficient and effective IT organization. This would include such individuals as: Application and Systems Team Leaders, Senior System Engineers, Technical Storage Manager, Team Leader, Assistant Director, General Manager IT, Infrastructure Manager, Help Desk Manager and IT Marketing and/or Sales Consultants.
Exam:
Attendees will take a 1 hour Certified IT Manager exam. The exam is 40 questions, closed book and multiple choice based. The passing mark is 27 out of 40. Attendees passing the exam will be awarded the internationally accredited and recognized 'Certified IT Manager' certificate (CITM).
The CITM certificate is valid for 3 years, after which a 1-hour exam will be required to maintain the CITM certification standing.
Alternatively the certificate renewal can be accomplished by obtaining CPE's (Continuing Professional Education). More information on qualifying CPE's will be available upon certification or visit the general information page here.

CITM is world-wide accredited by EXIN and The Professional Engineers Board Singapore. BICSI accreditation will follow soon.
