Latin America (22 Nov 2016) - The Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (TSTT) has received the world-class ANSI/TIA-942 data centre quality certification from EPI for three of its data centres. TSTT has the distinction of having the only Rated-3 ANSI/TIA-942 certified data centres in Trinidad and Tobago, the Caribbean and Latin America.  This places TSTT among the top data centres in the world.  The ANSI/TIA-942 Certificate of Conformance attests that TSTT's data centre has been independently assessed and found to conform to the requirements of ANSI/TIA-942 Rated-3 for the following scopes - 1. architectural, including site location and building structure; 2. mechanical, including cooling, safety, fire suppression and security; 3. electrical; and 4. telecommunications.  TSTT’s customers can therefore be assured that TSTT's data centre has redundancy in its facilities and telecommunication infrastructure as well as having enhanced physical security features.
