CISAS - Certified Information Security Awareness Specialist
This 2-day course is designed for staff responsible for information security and more specifically security awareness. The attendant will receive a fundamental background on information security and will be guided in designing, building and implementing a security awareness program in a workshop-like course. The course material contains practical additional information that will assist the attendants to quickly jump start their own customized security awareness program.

Intended Audience:
Participants who have the need for a strong understanding of information security in general with the responsibility of maintaining the information security program in their organization. This would include such individuals as: Information Security Administrators, Information Security Analysts, Information Security Managers, Internal Compliance Staff, Security Integrators, etc.

Exam:
Attendees will take a 1 hour Certified Information Security Awareness Specialist exam. The exam is 28 questions, closed book, multiple choice based. The passing mark is 20 out of 30. Attendees passing the exam will be awarded the 'Certified Information Security Awareness Specialist' certificate (CISAS).

The CISAS certificate is valid for 3 years, after which a 1-hour exam will be required to maintain the CISAS certification standing.
