EPI has taken yet another step forward this year with the setting up of the EPI LATAM LLC office to better serve the Latin America market.
According to Edward van Leent, Chairman & CEO of the EPI Group of Companies, “The Latin America market is not new to us. We have been delivering services to customers over the years via our channel partners in this region. We continue to grow fast and we want to ensure that our partners and customers get the support they require from us. LATAM was identified as one of the regions we will focus on for this year as part of our expansion plans. It is with great satisfaction to see these plans coming to fruition now with the setup of the EPI LATAM office.”
Heading the EPI LATAM office is Joseba Calvo (Managing Partner, EPI LATAM), a veteran in the data centre industry. Joseba has a strong technical as well as business background, having worked in the whole spectrum of different data centre build projects internationally whilst having set up a business which was bought over by a Fortune 500 company.
According to Joseba, “There is great opportunity for EPI’s data centre training, audit and certification services in LATAM. In just the first two month prior to the launch of the EPI LATAM office alone, we have delivered a number of training classes in countries such as Chile, Nicaragua, Suriname, Peru, with upcoming schedules planned in more countries including Mexico, Bolivia, Curacao and others. I am very excited and looking forward to growing the EPI business in LATAM. Though we operate via a channel partner business model, the opening of EPI LATAM office is our long-term commitment to our existing customers and future customers that we are there to support them in collaboration with our local channel partners.”
