Q:  We have been running data centres for a long time, we really don’t need training.

Q:  Where can I buy/take the CDCP® exam?

Hands-on Expert Knowledge 

The EPI courses are written by a group of data centre veterans with many years of experience in designing, auditing and operating data centres all over the world. With many projects performed globally you can be assured that the EPI consultants have done it all and seen it all. The EPI courses provide excellent practical experience and insights in what works and what doesn't work when it comes to setting up, maintaining and running mission critical sites.

Course Development Methodology 

The courses are developed based on an in-depth and systematic structure and rationale. At the core is the EPI Data Centre Framework outlining all disciplines required for a fully managed data centre.  Based on this, EPI developed the Data Centre Competence Framework (DCCF) which defines the job roles and competences required in a data centre environment.  The EPI Data Centre Training Framework was then created to categorise the courses and competences required. 
EPI starts with understanding competences required. From there EPI’s external accreditation and examination institute, EXIN, develops the testing criteria. Those testing criteria are then used by EPI to build the course content. Each course is written to cover the identified competences, incorporating the real life experience of EPI’s global team of consultants, and referencing Bloom’s taxonomy for effective instructional design.

International Standards 

EPI courses reference international standards such as ANSI/TIA-942, EN-50600, NFPA-75 and many others ensuring that you acquire the most relevant and updated industry knowledge.
