Introduction

Whether you are building or operating a data center, certification is highly recommended. It is often a regulatory requirement in many countries and clients require certification as evidence of operators following best practices with design, construction and operations.

Data Center Design and Constructed Facility

Whether it's for new data centers or an existing one, validation ensures that the data center facility has been built according to the applicable standards and international best practices. Regrettably, challenges in quality and conformity can sometimes arise due to various factors. These may include economic pressures, tight deadlines, varying level of expertise, misunderstanding of standards, or occasional lapses in attention to detail. In some cases, workmanship may not meet the expected standards.

We provide conformity audits and certification services based on globally recognised data center facility standards like the ANSI/TIA-924, ISO/IEC 22237 and EN 50600. Our certifications cover four key categories - design validation and constructed conformity, container and prefabricated solutions, modular data centers, and product certifications.

Data Center Operations

Besides building highly resilient facilities with redundancy at various levels, many data center owners/operators have come to realise that without having adequate governance processes and maintenance programs, the availability levels would be seriously impacted and erode the investment made in the data center facility as well as putting the data center and its customers at undue risk.

EPI provides the DCOS^® (Data Center Operations Standard) audit and certification services. The DCOS^® audit will benchmark the data center governance, operations and maintenance based on all, or a subset, of the 11 complete disciplines for a fully managed mission critical facility.
