9. What if I want to attend the CDCS, but my CDCP has expired more than 6 months?
If your CDCP certificate is expired for more than 6 months, you’ll need to refresh your CDCP knowledge before moving on to the CDCS. You can do this with the Back-On-Track (BOT) program. Once you have an active CDCP certificate, you can proceed with the CDCS as normal.
10. My CDCP certificate is expiring soon, and I have the CDCS, do I have to recertify my CDCP?
No, you do not have to recertify your CDCP after you have achieved the CDCS. EPI recognises the highest-level certificate in the CDCP/CDCS/CDCE track, which in this case is the CDCS. You only need to maintain your CDCS certificate.
The same applies to those who have achieved the CDCE. Only the CDCE needs to be maintained.
11. When I recertify my CDCS, will I get a new CDCP certificate as well?
No. You will receive the CDCS certificate only. EPI recognises the highest-level certificate in the CDCP/CDCS/CDCE track, and for CDCS holders, that is the CDCS.
The same rule applies for CDCE. Only the CDCE certificate will be issued.
12. What if I want to attend the CDCE, but my CDCS is expired more than 6 months?
If your CDCS certificate has been expired for more than 6 months, you’ll need to refresh both your CDCP and CDCS knowledge before moving on to the CDCE. You can do this with the Back-On-Track (BOT) program. Once you have the active CDCP and CDCS certificates, you can proceed with the CDCE as normal.
13. Can I purchase the exam only to for my recertification?
