CDCS® (Certified Data Centre Specialist) is a 3-day advance level for training data centre design/build professionals. The CDCS® course will cover engineering calculations on the various components in a data centre facility. CDCS® will further increase attendees' competences to a level of a compatible sparring partner with suppliers and they will be able to verify offers provided by vendors for correctness, effectiveness and efficiency.
The primary audience for this course is an IT, Facilities or Data Centre Operations professional working in and around the data centre (representing both end-customers and/or service provider/facilitators) and having responsibility to achieve and improve high availability and manageability of the Data Centre, such as: Data centre managers, Operations / Floor / Facility managers, data centre engineers, network/system engineers, data centre sales/consultants.
Participants must hold a valid CDCP® certificate in order to be able to register for the CDCS® class.

The CDCS® course is lectured by an EPI Certified Instructor using a combination of lectures and question-and-answer sessions to discuss participants’ specific needs and issues experienced in their own environment. Participants are able to tap into the trainer’s extensive experience to enable them to solve practical problems in their current environment, thus adding tremendous value.
CDCS® course available in the following delivery methods:
Exam: Certified Data Centre Specialist (CDCS®)
Attendees will take a 1.5 hour CDCS® exam. The exam is 60 questions, multiple choice, closed-book. The passing mark is 45 out of 60.
Certification & Accreditation
Attendees passing the exam will be awarded the internationally accredited and recognized 'Certified Data Centre Specialist' certificate (CDCS®).
CDCS® is globally accredited by EXIN, a fully independent exam and certification institute.
The CDCS® certificate is valid for 3 years, after which recertification is required. Please see the EPI Recertification Program for available options.
